Elder Adam Walker:

Hello - We had a huge snow storm here yesterday, this whole town shut down. It snowed about 4 inches, its more than they have had in the last 5 years. It was funny, Walmart's shelves were empty and people were panicking. It was quite a site. We have just been trying to find new people to teach, cause many of our investigators have just bottomed out and they are going no where so we are trying to find some new ones. There are a couple less active members that are inviting people over to their houses to be taught so that has been really nice. It's a double whammy, a less active coming back and a new person coming. Elder Owens has been doing really, really well. I have been impressed, I have been sending him on his own to some of our investigators and he has got commitments from them that they were going to come to church. He is doing really well. Tomorrow is transfers already. We are both staying here. I probably have 6 more weeks here in Martinsville. We were at the nursing home on the 3rd floor and I had a lady kick a shoe at me, then she tried to run me over with her wheel chair. She didn't succeed but she did get put in time out. That place is ridiculous there are some crazy people in that place. I'm excited for General Conference this next month. It is always a treat for missionaries. Hope you're doing good. Love you, Elder Walker

We had a great break through this week, we were finally able to set someone for baptism here. This branch that I'm in has gone a whole year without having a baptism so it will be nice to see this one go through. His name is Chris McBride, he is 18 years old and works at Wendys with one of the members that lives here. He is getting baptized April 19 so we are looking forward to that. It's raining outside today so we probably won't play golf today. I love you all. Thanks for everything that you do. Happy St. Patrick's Day. Love, Elder Walker
